SD-WAN Velo Cloud Intro

Who can use CoreNexa™ SD-WAN

CoreNexa™ SD-WAN was built for organizations that need high-quality voice capabilities. It helps you make the best use of your company’s available bandwidth for VoIP calls. SD-WAN is especially beneficial if you have remote workers, several locations or branches, and workflows that require employees to rely on multiple network types or distributed networks. It also benefits organizations that have bandwidth limits and need reliability and stability for both VoIP and standard data.

What SD-WAN Does

Our SD-WAN solution has two main functions

It optimizes voice traffic and reduces degradation of voice quality through the creation and transmission of duplicate packets over a specialized route. That specialized route is intended to reduce data packet loss for your network.

It works to optimize your voice and data traffic within your organization and across the multiple networks you use. SD-WAN also monitors the usage of your bandwidth across both voice and data traffic and allocates bandwidth as necessary (based on policies and priorities that you can preselect) in order to ensure that you are getting the best quality and not wasting bandwidth.

What SD-WAN Offers:

Voice Optimization

Your voice data gets prioritized and managed as it is sent to the provider. This process is an advantage to using our SD-WAN solution. Our SD-WAN solution automatically routes in the most optimal way possible rather than over standard internet routing, resulting in fewer lost packets and better voice quality on your calls.

Centralized Visibility & Management

SD-WAN gives your administrators the ability to view bandwidth usage and connections across all of your locations from a single screen. It offers information about where there are issues within your network and indicates if your ISP is having a problem rather than the hardware.

Optimization

SD-WAN provides the ability to optimize the traffic of a distributed or hybrid network to improve utilization and stability.

Policy Enforcement

You can set policies on bandwidth usage and allocation that the SD-WAN box will enforce automatically, reshaping your bandwidth based on availability and policy. You can also prioritize locations or specific parts of your network, as needed.

Remote Orchestration

SD-WAN makes it easier to determine and provide a baseline level of access for all, whether your employees or guests are using managed devices, BYOD, or IoT and collaboration enablement devices.

Why you should be using SD-WAN

Whether you’re managing VoIP systems for an organization with high voice availability and quality needs or you’re setting up a new network for a highly distributed organization with multiple locations, SD-WAN makes the day-to-day operation and management of these systems easier and more efficient. Aside from the functional benefits and drastic improvement of voice quality, SD-WAN gives you the visibility and control needed for quick resolution of voice and network quality issues.

SD-WAN makes it easy to optimize, manage, and troubleshoot, whether it’s managing multiple customer deployments or multiple environments for a single customer.
